If you inject anything, be aware that skin applied meds are not manufactured to the purity standards of injectable meds.
Such action would not be as bad as injecting swamp water but the risk would be there for infection. The fact that this could trigger a heart rhythm disturbance & kill you would also be worth considering. You might get lucky & not have a problem, but don't bet on it.
