Its fine. Up to about 1000mcg or 1 mg is perfectly fine and this is just 1200 mcg. However, in the 400mcg pill you said folic acid vitamin. My daily prenatal vitamins have 800mcg of folic acid and 8mcg of b12. Is that sufficient? It's the equaline brand.

Should be but... 800 mcg of Folic Acid should be fine, though if you are among the 1/3 of people that have trouble converting Folic Acid to the active form, l-5-mthf, you might consider supplementing with 1 mg of l-5-mthf (only a blood tests tells for sure). The rda of B12 is only 2.6 mcg so 8 mcg should be ok, though if you are vegan you could take higher amounts to be safe. For most, what you are on is fine. Read more...
