No effect of penicilin after 3 days. Bad sore throat, difficulty swalloing, ear ache, head ache, swelling under ear. Pain gets worst in night. No fever?
Give it time. We know true strep is universally sensitive (killed) by penicillin, but the tissue disruption/pain triggered by infection may take time to improve.
