may be done medical people like RN's and LCSWs in medical settings.
Art psychotherapy would be done by psychologists (Phd or PsyD) as they learn techniques and often the research behind the techniques. That is the only difference I can think of. I do art psychotherapy in my practice.

Is there such a thing as art psychotherapy? I'd like to see the research on that.
However, art therapy is a bona-fide therapy for adults and children who have difficulty expressing themselves through verbal means.
