Is it safe to take morphine during the 1st trimester of pregnancy?

Morphine. Every drug you take must be balanced by it's risks. Morphine is safe but you have not said why you are taking it and for how long. If you have surgery and need pain control, then by all means use the drug. If you are taking it for other reasons, then you need to ask yourself do I need the medication. It is best to use the least amount of medications.
