Took at least one 8+ hour flight per year in the past. Then 911, dollar decline, etc. At 60 are there new risks from plane travel?

In brief: I'll say no...

Air travel remains one of the safest ways to get around.
At the spry age of 60 you should be fine! remember to be mindful of hydration, get up and walk briefly around every hour or two while awake, and don't start your trip already exhausted, as many do. Travel well!
