1. Wash your hands thoroughly before meal prep and after touching your face or using the toilet.
2.Eliminate cross-contamination of meat juices ( eg cutting boards, mixing raw/cooked items, storing raw items over cooked ones) 3. Cooking and storing food at their appropriate temperatures. 4. When in doubt, don't eat the food item in question.
