I got the depo provera shot about 3 weeks ago and I am planning on having sex this week. Friday is the 28th day of my cycle and I wanted to know if I'd be protected against pregnancy? Also, I have not had bleeding and was wondering if that could happen.

Because Depo is a progesterone shot, you will not have normal menstruation for the duration of the shot. It alters your cycle so your 28-day cycle is probably not reliable, i.e. you will not know exactly when you are supposed to ovulate any more. If you do ovulate that is.
