Stage 1: there is only one tumor, stage 2a: the tumor is not easily removed, but the disease is confined to one side of the body, all lymph nodes still remain free from the disease.
2b: the lymph nodes on the opposite side of the body are not found to show signs of the disease, but same side is affected, stage 3: the tumor has spread so that it can be found on both sides of the body. Stage 4:advac.
