In brief: Depends on type..

There are many different types of lymphoma, for example hodgkin lymphoma, and each type has a treatment protocol that has clinical trial evidence to support its efficacy.
Treatment can involve surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, or a combination thereof. Standards of care should exist for most lymphomas. If you are unsure, get a 2nd opinion. Academic centers can be helpful.

In brief: No

There is not one specific protocol because there are several groupings which respond differently to treatment.
There are several major categories such as most b cell lymphomas utilize a monoclonal drug called Rituximab in the treatment and aggressive lymphomas contain a group of drugs called anthracyclines. Corticosteroids such as Prednisone or Dexamethasone are also found in most of the regmens.
