Ramsay hunt syndrome recovery probability?

Ramsay Hunt Type II. is caused by reactivation of the Varicella or Chickenpox virus in the geniculate ganglion, a collection of of nerve cells & fibers of the Facial Nerve. Prognosis depends on age, competence of immune system, extent & severity of impairments from Facial Nerve damage. Milder cases treated with antiviral medication & steroids within 3 days of symptom onset have a 70-75% chance of recovery. .
