In brief: HYPERPYREXIA

Child has to be seen by md aside from high fever, he does not eat.
Try lowering the temperature by giving advil (ibuprofen) liquid 1 tsp every 4-6 hours and sponging him with warm water and pushing fluid intake. Since there is no associated symptom, its best to find out what is wrong. It may be a viral infection. Good luck!

He probably has sore throat and the high fever is making him miserable. Dose of tylenol and motrin in children is based on their weights .it is very important to know his weight to give proper doses of each medicine.you can alternate them every four hours eg tylenol at 8 am then motrin at 12 noon then tylenol at 4 pm and so on and on

Sponge him down with lukewarm water and PAT dry.offer him plenty of liquids in small amounts to hydrate him.may need antibiotics if bacterial. Please take him to his pediatrician.do not use alcohol bath!!!

In brief: Go to the ER

It's easy for a kid who has a fever and isn't eating to get dehydrated very quickly.
Get to the emergency room--you're listed as being in north royalton...Parma hospital and southwest hospital (in middelburg heights) are both pretty close.
