In brief: Genital herpes?
When a patient asks about herpes, i find they r often interesting in learning about genital herpes, which is usually caused by type 1 or 2 herpes.
Once a person has genital herpes, it can't b cured, but can b managed. Often herpes doesn't cause symptoms so the best way 2 know if u have it is 2 get tested. If u have a sore, see your pcp. If u want routine screening or info, see sexualhealth.Com.
