I am 10 days late on my period, I do not want to be pregnant, I've taken 2 home pregnancy tests and both negative, I'm having headaches and cramps?

Not pregnant. If you've not have unprotected intercourse, and you have had 2 negative pregnancy tests, then you're likely not pregnant. As to why you're late, most common reason would be because your hormones are a little out of balance. Other reasons could be weight (thin/heavy), or thyroid or pituitary. See a doctor if period continues to be late. Ibuprofen for headaches and cramping is best. 600mg.

Pre-menstrual. It sounds as if you are having pre-menstrual type symptoms. Pre-menstrual symptoms can feel a lot like pregnancy symptoms and it can be hard, sometimes, to tell them apart. Ibuprofen, and a warm bath, will likely help with your cramping. Take 600mg ibuprofen. Read more...

Hi there my period is 21 days late, I'm regularly 28 day cycle, I have had cramps through out. 3 negative pregnancy tests?

Hormonal imbalance. If you did the test correctly, it is unlikely that you are pregnant. Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time. You may consider implanted contraceptive or an IUD. I haven't had my period for 2 months I took 2 home pregnancy tests and both came back negative headaches, gas, bloated type of feeling, restlessness, change in hunger.

There . There are two possibilities in your case; one is that you are premenstrual (to explain current symptoms) and will menstruate in the next week or so (you just ovulated late this month), or simply did not ovulate this month/last month and that is why you have not had a period. This can happen to patients from time to time but it is unusual to go three months without menstruation for patients who otherwise menstruate every month like clockwork, and 6 months without one requires an investigation. So if three months go by, and your pregnancy test is negative you should seek help from your doctor. Hope this helps. Read more...

Belly cramp/bloating. There are lots of reasons for abdominal discomfort & bloating, & not all of them are due to the GI tract. Even "functional" syndromes may be present without underlying "disease." However PSBO (paralyzed gut) due to metabolic & inflammatory conditions nearby (like a urinary tract or vaginal infection) must be considered & addressed.
