Will I get more pain relief from nerve pain if I use a combination of both drugs like elavil and Lyrica, (pregabalin) than if I used just one ?

In brief: Most likely

Since they attack "nerve" pain by different mechanisms then there is a potential for additive benefit.
They are often used in combination for that purpose. Keep in mind that medications like this do not work right away, so if you can tolerate as they "get into your system" over the course of a few weeks you will be able to see if they truly work for you.
