Look for a bulls-eye rash- if you have this you have lyme, but it only happens half the time. Other early symptoms are mild flu-like symptoms (headache. Aches, mild fever), then joint pains, fatigue, problems with memory & concentration and virtually any symptom in the world. Deer ticks may spread ehrlichia, babesia, bartonella etc.
