In brief: Acute?
In acute bronchitis, symptoms include cold symptoms, cough with sputum production, fever, body aches, shortness of breath.
If it is due to bacterial infection, antibiotics are used and if it is a viral infection, it will run its course over a few days to week or so. Your doctor can tell the difference. There is no cure for chronic bronchitis, a form of copd.
