I'm 37.3 weeks pregnant. Got HVS test done. Culture result shows high candida species (non albicans). What does that mean? Is it dangerous?

Candida species. Assuming that you had vaginal testing for the presence of Herpes virus to predict vertical transmission to your baby, this is only 50% sensitive altho highly specific. Why the specimen was cultured for yeast is unclear, but non-albicans species can also produce vulvovaginitis, altho not commonly. This should be easy to eliminate if your obstetrician feels it is relevant. It is not dangerous.
