In brief: Painful emotions

From time to time, all of us experience feelings we would rather not have.
It's important, though, not to shrink from them -- but to try and understand what's happening within ourselves that these are coming up. If this is something keeping you stuck in suffering, it might help to discuss it with a therapist. Such a person can listen in a neutral but caring way, and help you deal with these.

In brief: Shame

Shame and hatred are the darkest of emotions, and nearly impossible to talk about for fear of being judged.
That being said, find a reputable psychotherapist to talk about these feelings with. The therapist will not judge you, and the therapeutic environment is one of safety. Clearly, you have reasons to feel as such, and in therapy those feelings will be safely given voice.

In brief: Hate

We don't have to like everyone -impossible - we feel deep emotional responsesto people positive or unpleasant.
Hate is a strong word. 1) to paraphrase someone said that hate is like taking poison and hoping someone else will die. I'm not making light. 2) i think to get to the bottom -might be helpful to translate hate into a more basic feeling? Do you feel fear, anger, shame , disgust?
