In brief: Abn heart rhythm

Paroxysmal atrial tachycardia is an abnormal heart rhythm propagated by a variety of mechanisms.
The HR typically is 170-240 but exceptions occur. It usually causes palpitations and, if prolonged, may cause shortness of breath and/or dizziness. The albuterol you take can precipitate it. It can occur in otherwise normal hearts. Meds or ablation can prevent it.
