In brief: Fibroids

If you have heavy periods, severe cramps surgery is a good alternative if medication therapy failed.
If it s just an incidental finding, just make sure you get a pelvic exam once a year.

there are some other procedures that do not remove the uterus and are minimally invasive to treat fibroids: focused ultrasound fibroid ablation and arterial embolization are twl

In brief: Maybe

Not all fibroids will cause you problems.
Sometimes they cause no symptoms. Other times they can grow and cause bleeding, pain, miscarriage, infertility, etc. So it really depends on you individually.

In brief: Also if growing

As they grow fibroids may be more likely to cause problems and be more difficult to remove through minimally invasive techniques.
So you may want to get them dealt with if problems are borderline, but size increasing.
