May have a problem. If you have a significant ankle injury you may need to avoid participation in your sporting event until your ankle improves. Obviously if you have a significant fracture, you should not participate. If you have a sprain, and it is minor you might be able to play with taping or a brace. If it is a grade 2 or 3 sprain you will likely need to rest to avoid making the injury worse.
