In brief: Stop drinking

There may be allergies to something in whatever beverage you are drinking.
Alcohol can release histamine in some people and cause itching. If you are drinking excessively, cut back to 2 or fewer drinks per day, and not more than 14 per week or more than 4 on any one occasion. Use of an antihistamine may help the symptoms, like benadryl (diphenhydramine) or one of the newer ones like zyrtec or claritin.
