High but not. dangerous level of LDL. Your doctor is providing the right advise. Reduce your intake of saturated fats, exercise and if you are even slightly overweight, lose some weight.
It is a bit high. This LDL would be in a range which should be actively lowered. That being said, it would be nice if you didn't need to medicate it down. I agree with cardiovascular exercise and diet, of course, and you might want to add some No-Flush Niacin 2000mg daily in divided doses; this would be a more natural way to lower the numbers.
