S/p Cataract surgery. It is not uncommon to have blurry vision, general discomfort, pressure sensations around eye after surgery. This can be due to resolving inflammation, corneal swelling, drying out of tear film layer, pressure fluctuations in eye. These symptoms should resolve. I had a cataract surgery 26 dec right eye but when I cover my left eye I see things skinny and smaller and they bend a little why is that?

Refractive? Make sure you discuss your symptoms with your surgeon. He/she will want to evaluate your postoperative eye. Some ideas include a refractive error, where glasses would help. Posterior capsular stria that may cause blur streaks in your vision. Retinal issues (macula) including possible edema, or surface wrinkling. Blur ; Distortion. It is not uncommon to experience such symptoms after cataract surgery. The medications you are using should help improve your symptom over time and some may take longer to heal than others. Also, underlying conditions may affect overall vision, ie.
