Controlling your blood sugar is of paramount importance while pregnant as high blood sugar can have lots of bad effects on your developing baby.
When done properly, there is minimal chance of skin infections from checking your blood sugar. Check as often as is required to help with better control of your sugar and you and your baby will do much better. Congrats and good luck..
