In brief: Symptoms

Celiac disease is a problem where patients get chronic diarrhea and sometimes a serious skin rash called pyoderma gangrenosum caused by your body making an IgG antibody to a wheat protein that also attacks your small intestine.
This results in malabsorption which causes diarrhea. It usually gets better by removing wheat from your diet. Your doctor can do tests to see if this is the problem.
