In brief: OTC Asthma Rx

Inhalers with CFC that could damage the ozone have been taken off the market as of 2012.
There are nasal steroid sprays that may help, antihistamines if your asthma has an allergic-component, and epinephrine nebulized solutions. http://www.asthmanefrin.com/2012/nephron-announces-asthmanefrin-an-alternative-to-primatene-mist.html

In brief: Asthma otc meds.

Untreated asthma can develop into a medical emergency.
"Primatene Mist" was taken off the market because it was dangerous and ineffective. If money is the barrier, your doctor might be willing to call you in a rx for an albuterol inhaler until you can get an appt. If it is work, let your employer know that you have asthma, and need time off for a medical appt. Don't put this off.

In brief: Nothing Safe

There are no safe medication for use over the counter for asthma control.
If you cannot see the doctor for 2 weeks then go to an urgent care if not the ER and get it taken care of. Do not wait. Asthma can be life threatening.

In brief: There isn't

Unless allergies are the root cause, there is no over the counter asthma medicine.
If you already have an albuterol inhaler, you can use that. Otherwise you will need to see a physician.
