A plain uncomplicated cold may last up to 7 to 10 days, the mucus changes from clear to cloudy and you may have a productive cough.
Make sure you run a humidifier and suction the nose out with saline drops. If your child seems to be in any way worsening, has difficulty breathing and has cha ge in behavior and activity, is not eating or drinking and has a protracted fever, see your child's doc asap.
