In brief: GI cancer symptoms

Traditionally, I lecture my medical students to pick up on "alarm symptoms" that make us consider further testing for cancer.
- Early satiety (getting full easily) - Unexplained weight loss - Difficulty swallowing - Vomiting of blood However, please also keep in mind that gastric cancer and small bowel cancer are very rare in your age group. Symptoms may just indicate a need for more tests.
