Is botox good for headaches related to tension?

Yes. Botox recently has been approved to treat frequent migraine headaches and some insurances will cover it. I have seen relief using Botox for tension headaches as well but the treatment would typically be fee for service.
Botox treatment. Yes, it can be very useful for tension headaches. I have had very good benefit with the use of Botox for chronic headache patients in the past.
Might work. Botox has been used with reasonable success for treating migraines. Tension headaches may be partially caused by contraction of scalp muscles. Botox could be used to relax scalp muscles. It is probably off label, and it is expensive, but it would be reasonable to try it.
