What has the same symptoms of diabetes?

Diabetes Insipidus. Diabetes mellitus (dm) causes high blood sugars, and very high sugars can cause an increase in urine production. With diabetes insipidus (di), the kidney does not respond to a hormone that tells it to make less urine (vasopressin). So, the kidneys put more water into the urine than they should, and these people urinate more (and are always drinking water to compensate).
