Is Sodium Ascorbate the sane as Ascorbic Acid? What's the difference? Is it safe to megadose?

In brief: Not exactly the same

Sodium ascorbate is one of the mineral salts contained in ascorbic acid/vitamin C.
It does not seem to be more bioavailable (available for use by the body) than other forms of vitamin C supplementation. There is also the down side that it contains sodium. I would discourage you from considering megadosing anything, including vitamin C. Stay well:)
