Scintigraphy consists to injecting radioactive material that will be included into the metabolism of the body.
For bone, the radioactive tracer will be showing the bone metabolism and for instance can depict metastasis, benign or malignant bone tumors, fractures, infections and so on. Scintigraphy is also used to look at the thyroid gland, the heart, the kidney or the gallbladder function.
