Caffeine is a "natural" diuretic, so theoretically that could work.
But, if you have pulmonary edema, i would not trust a "natural" diuretic. You need to be evaluated immediately. Pulmonary edema may be the sign of something more serious, like a heart attack. So, if you have pulmonary edema, you need to get checked out.
