Bland liquids. Low fat or skimmed milk is good. Many juices are acidic(except for apple juice) Avoid carbonated drinks(Fiizzy drinks cause discomfort). Be careful with alcohol use and the choice of liquor, and Coffee too...all are strong irritants. Read more...

See your doctor . Drinking too much water can cause you to lower your sodium (called hyponatremia). A blood test can determine your sodium level. If your sodium is low, it can make you feel sick, can cause mental status changes, and cause you to have a seizure. Talk to your doctor about your fluid requirements.
