Cyclogyl (cyclopentolate) Cyclogyl® (cyclopentolate hydrochloride ophthalmic solution, usp) is an anticholinergic prepared as a sterile, borate buffered, solution for topical ocular use. It is supplied in three strengths. Cyclopentolate hydrochloride is used to produce mydriasis and cycloplegia.
Pupil(eye) dilator. Cyclopentolate ophthalmic relaxes muscles in your eye to dilate (widen) your pupil. Cyclopentolate ophthalmic is used to dilate your pupil in preparation for an eye exam.
