In brief: Around day 14
If you start a five day course of Clomid (clomiphene) on day three then ovulation should occur around day 14.
You can buy a home ovulation kit at any pharmacy to help time intercourse. Good luck.

In brief: Varies
There is no rule; i've seen ealier, later, and the same.
As a very rough generalization when cycles are not regular, Clomid (clomiphene) tends to push ovulation more toward the normal mid-cycle.

If you have a good physician to guide you through CC treatments I'd absolutely do it. You can accelerate the process with very little risk using monitored CC even if you ovulate normally. BTW it's not just egg number that's important. On the other hand I do not recommend auto-pilot on CC at home without a fertility person to monitor and advise...I've seen too many blunders that way. Good luck!
