Not exactly. A woman can use a tanning bed before or after breast feeding, if she accepts the risks of the uv radiation hitting her skin. During breast feeding, her baby would be right there, so she must stay away from the tanning bed or have the machine turned off. The tanning bed won't damage her breast milk.
