In brief: 6.25mg every 4-6 hrs

The typical dose of benadryl/diphenhydramine in 2-4 year olds is 6.
25 mg orally every 4-6 hours for allergy symptoms. Benadryl is typically sold in liquid form as 12.5mg per teaspoon, so you would administer one-half teaspoon to get the 6.25 mg dose. Be sure to contact your physician if symptoms persist or if she begins to cough, have a fever, or anything else that concerns you.

In brief: Based on weight

Based on weight, you child could have 5ml (1 tsp, but do use a syringe measuring device for accuracy) every 6 hours of the Benadryl (diphenhydramine) children's liquid which contains 12.
5mg per 5ml. Some children have an opposite reaction to Benadryl (diphenhydramine) though and get hyper, so i would rather use saline nose drops, a humidifier, and increased fluids to drink. Wash her eyes with clear water.
