In brief: It is important

To address, as while bone issues are very obvious, there are many associations with poorer health outcomes in wide ranging disease processes.
Your dosing per week is on the high side but it should help bring up your initially low levels. You may just want to ensure this is monitored with your physician in the future, to make sure your levels are replete and not too high(in the long run).

In brief: Anyone in your famil

in a wheelchair ? there is a condition in which you just can't make vitamin D (familial ricketts) with bone problems beginning about age 30-40, maybe earlier. Otherwise, nobody has osteoporosis in their 30's.
Cannot say on the lab value of vitamin D without seeing the lab slip: certified lab...what is range of normal, etc. vitamin D is in UNITS not mg. 10 is nothing. 1000 is a bit high.
