Can you have thyroid nodules on your abdomen? I found a pea size lump and my doctor said it's nothing. Now I keep finding other bumps

In brief: Doubtful

I agree with your physician.
The lumps or masses you feel on your abdomen are more than likely sebaceous cyst or lipomas, small fatty tumors. These are not worrisome. If they become painful or rapidly grow, consult with your physician. If they are unsightly they can electively be removed. Most of my patients can find one or more of these on their body. Good luck.

In brief: No

Thyroid nodules are specific to your thyroid gland in your neck.
What you most likely found are lipomas - benign fatty tumors. These are surprisingly common and can be found all over the body in the subcutaneous soft tissue.
