In brief: Probably muscular

If it's only with lifting, it's probably muscular. Many muscles are attached to the lower part of your chest, so that's a common place to have pain.
Sometimes, the cartilage along your ribs also becomes irritated and hurts there. As long as you aren't having shortness of breath, and the pain is only with lifting or motion, take some Tylenol (acetaminophen) and Advil, put a little heat on it, and don't worry.
