I take hydralozine, clonidine, amlodipine, coreg (carvedilol) and losartan for HBP and thyroxine. Could any of these medications cause erectile dysfunction?

BP meds can do this. Impotence are listed potential side effects of hydralazine, amlodipine and losartan. Potentially, any of the antihypertensive medicines can do this. It is uncommon to require 5 different medicines to control hypertension. Ask your doctor to reassess your treatment.
Yes. Core and Clonidine and less likely but possible Hydralazine. Amlodipine and Losartan are usually not the cause of ED.
ED. Yes:- but having elevated BP by itselof can be an issue in ED. I suggest reviewing this with your physician.

Symptoms? Hi. Are you getting low blood pressure and/or dizziness when you take Cialis with your blood pressure drug regimen? I would think the hydrazine and the clonidine would be the most likely offenders based on mechanism of action. Generally losartan, Coreg, (carvedilol) and amlodipine are well tolerated with the Cialis family of drugs. But that's quite a BP combo; take my prediction with a grain of salt! Good luck. Horny goat weed. Erectile-dysfunction.Emedtv.Com/horny-goat-weed/horny... It is probably best to check with your healthcare provider before using such a combination. The problem is that only Lisinopril has been studied and found not to interact. Not enough is known yet about the others so the warning about high blood pressure medications should be followed until the research determines it to be safe. Best wishes. Read more...
