Scintigraphy. Is a term used to describe nuclear medicine exams. This is something that is ordered by a doctor depending on your symptoms and what they are looking for.
Radiology facility. Most radiology practices and departments in hospitals are equipped to do nuclear medicine studies. Nuclear medicine imaging can involve bones, heart, brain, gall bladder, liver ,spleen ,thyroid, kidneys bladder etc.
Nuclear medicine. A scintigraphy is the name given for medical imaging tests performed in nuclear medicine following injection, oral administration or inhalation of radionuclides. This is done either at the hospital or in private offices by nuclear medicine specialists or radiologists.
