In brief: Typical symptoms
Food allergy usually starts within 30 min.
And involves some or all of following: itchy/swollen lips/mouth/throat, nausea, vomitting, abdominal cramps, diarrhea, flushing, itchy skin, hives, chest tightness, wheezing, runny/stuffy nose, itchy/watery eyes, lightheadedness/low bp. It is rare to have a single symptom except itchy mouth and symptoms resolve within 24 hours.
