I wonder if 6 hours of sleeping is enough for a teen aged 19 years old?

In brief: Sleep patterns

6 to 8 hours sleep seems reasonable for a 19 year old since I have a 19 year old and teenagers defy the good sleep pattern advise , I always add good nutrition, exercise as an integral pattern for a total wellbeing.

In brief: 8 hours is better

Most studies suggest that humans need approximately 8 hours of sleep per night for optimal function.
This is true for teenagers too. But, good luck in persuading them to change habits!
