In brief: Lots!

You can get belly pain, heartburn, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, painful urination, bloody urine, headache, flushing, lightheadedness, kidney stones, or even an allergic reaction (hives, facial swelling, etc.
). Also Ascorbic Acid (vitamin c) can interact or interfere with medications.

Dr.Juster and I may not agree on this answer. While the symptoms she listed are listed when you look up ''possible symptoms ever reported after taking Vit.C., or possible adverse reactions with high doses of Vitamin C'', the fact is that humans must ''eat'' Vitamin C -I wish that American's got the 500-1,000 mg/day that Vitamin C experts recommend but our diets may not even give us the 60 mg/day
