In brief: Various causes
Congratulations on your pregnancy.
The big concern in the first trimester is bleeding and pain. Pain alone may be: simply the uterus "adapting" to the growth, a bladder infection, an ovarian cyst, or even a GI issue. You may require an ultrasound if you have not yet had one. Always contact your md for any 1st trimester concerns.Tylenol (acetaminophen) is considered safe in pregnancy.
