Are there any young people with Parkinson's disease?

In brief: Yes, Absolutely :(
Unfortunately, approximately 20% of pd patients are early-onset, meaning symptoms began at < 45years old.
I have 2 patients who even started exhibiting symptoms in their late 20's. The earlier the disease begins & the more people athe family affected, raises our suspicion that genetics play a significant role. For reference, average age of onset is 58. Or, pd can come as late as 80.
